International Business School

From application to arrival: how it really works

These are questions of process, not of product — the ground where a school beats a listings portal, because the admissions office answers them every day.

Application and preliminary assessment

You send your profile; we assess it for free and give an indicative opinion. It is not an admission — it is an honest read of whether the programme fits you.

Admission and enrolment

If the profile fits, the admissions office guides you through admission and enrolment, in English, document by document.

Study visa before travel, residence permit after arrival

If your citizenship requires it, apply for a study visa at the competent Italian consulate before travelling. After arriving in Italy, complete the applicable residence-permit procedure. Decisions belong to the authorities; the school explains the documents and timing within its responsibility.

Admission does not guarantee a visa or a residence permit. If a study visa is refused, the tuition amounts paid to Up Level are refunded in full after the official consular refusal is provided; external costs are excluded.

Accommodation and arrival

Before you arrive, we help with accommodation, getting around the city and the first days. The practical obstacles — “where do I sleep” first of all — are removed before they stop you.

Start with your plans.

Pick a day and a time: we will talk about where you live, what you have studied and which programme interests you. An initial conversation helps you see which steps to prepare.

Book a guidance conversation

The conversation is free and commits you to nothing. Profile information is enough for the first conversation: no passports or sensitive documents are needed.
